Bill is an award-winning filmmaker and the founder of
Sony Pictures Imageworks.

He is in post-production on CRIMSON TEAR (Two-Ton Films). His credits include: Purple Heart, starring William Sadler (Shawshank Redemption) and Mel Harris (30 Something). The film was an Official Selection at the ARTIVIST FILM FESTIVAL and Nominated for a PRISM AWARD.

Bill’s directorial debut, NO SALIDA, won the National Council on Crime and Delinquency’s PASS award. The short film was an Academy Awards® Finalist and was screened for 15,000+ at-risk teens as part of the City of Los Angeles gang intervention effort.

From 1991 to 1996 Bill was Senior Vice President & Co-General Manager of SONY PICTURES IMAGEWORKS (SPI). As SPI's Executive Producer from 1993 until 1995, Bill supervised the practical aspects of over 40 visual effects projects (SPEED, IN THE LINE OF FIRE, WOLF, JOHNNY MNEMONIC, MY LIFE), 15 title sequences and a variety of multi-media projects.

Bill served as Chairman of the Valley Community Clinic from 1999 until 2002. VCC is one of the leading health care providers to the uninsured in the San Fernando Valley. He was selected for the American Film Institute’s Education and Training Advisory Board.

Bill is an avid musician, an ultra-marathon cyclist, and was born in New York in 1961. He studied at Colorado College, the University of Virginia and the American Film Institute.

Bill holds a valid EU work permit.
